Riva Picks turns TrustRiva’s structured catalog and published review evidence into transparent shortlists. A listing must first satisfy a page’s eligibility policy; only then can it receive a numbered rank.
The listing must match the best-of page’s structured scope, such as software category, granular product type, industry, market, platform, deployment model, target business size, company service or company country.
The applicable policy sets minimum published Riva Reviews, minimum Riva Score, minimum score confidence and, where configured, a Riva Verified requirement.
Eligible listings are ordered by Riva Score, then Riva Score confidence, published review volume, raw published review average and finally name as a deterministic tie-breaker.
TrustRiva captures ranking snapshots so movement can be shown over time. A rank may rise or fall as review evidence, confidence, eligibility or competing listings change.
| Policy | Target | Reviews | Riva Score | Confidence | Verified | Published pages |

Software Standard Evidence v1.0 |

Software Established Evidence v1.0 |

Editors may exclude a listing from one page or add an Editorial Spotlight to an already-eligible listing. A Spotlight adds context only; it never changes the numbered rank.
There is no manual “make this #1” control.
Riva Picks is not a paid leaderboard, a universal declaration that one product is best for every buyer, or a replacement for comparing features, pricing, implementation requirements and organizational fit.
