Session state
TrustRiva uses session handling to maintain sign-in state, preserve temporary form/session information and connect requests that belong to the same browser session.
Learn how TrustRiva uses essential, preference and conditional analytics cookies, how long they may last, and the browser controls available to you.
TrustRiva separates core browser state from optional third-party tools and describes only behavior that the platform currently supports.
TrustRiva uses cookies and similar browser technologies to keep sessions working, protect forms, remember selected settings and support requested features. Optional integrations may also use cookies or related technologies when an administrator enables them. This policy explains the main categories, what they do and the controls available in your browser.
Cookies are small pieces of data that a website asks your browser to store and send back on later requests.
They can help a site recognise an active session, remember a preference, avoid repeating a notice or support basic measurement. Similar browser storage may be used by TrustRiva or an enabled integration where a feature requires it.
Some cookies are set directly by TrustRiva. Others may be set by a third-party service that is loaded only when that integration is configured and enabled.
These cookies support core platform functions and security controls.
TrustRiva uses session handling to maintain sign-in state, preserve temporary form/session information and connect requests that belong to the same browser session.
Session information works with TrustRiva's form and request-protection controls, including cross-site request forgery (CSRF) validation, so the platform can distinguish expected requests from certain forged requests.
For business-owner workflows, TrustRiva may remember the currently selected business so the console can return you to the correct business context. The current implementation stores this preference for up to 30 days.
Short-lived functional cookies may remember that specific content was already counted as viewed, helping prevent repeated refreshes from continuously increasing a view counter. These records are queued for about 24 hours in the current implementation.
TrustRiva can display a cookie notice when the GDPR-cookie notice setting is enabled.
gdpr_cookie acknowledgementWhen you select “Got it” on the TrustRiva cookie notice, the application queues a gdpr_cookie value for 30 days so the same notice does not need to appear on every visit. This acknowledgement cookie records that the notice was dismissed; it is not described here as a full preference-management or consent-management platform.
Some cookies remember choices that make TrustRiva easier to use on later visits.
Analytics technologies are conditional: they depend on which TrustRiva integrations are enabled.
The TrustRiva codebase includes an optional Google Analytics integration. When an administrator enables that extension and configures a measurement ID, Google Analytics scripts can be loaded and Google may set or read cookies or similar identifiers according to its own service behavior.
TrustRiva also records certain first-party aggregate discovery actions, such as opening a software, provider or recommendation result. Those server-side activity records do not mean that advertising cookies are enabled.
If an analytics integration is not enabled, this policy does not claim that it is active merely because the integration exists in the codebase.
Enabled external tools can have their own cookie and storage behavior.
An enabled analytics provider may receive browser, device and usage information and may set its own cookies. Its own privacy and cookie terms govern that provider's processing.
The theme supports optional third-party tools such as Tawk.to. If an administrator enables one, the provider's embedded script may use cookies or browser storage to operate the service.
TrustRiva does not control the cookie lifetimes or identifiers chosen by an external provider. Review the provider's current documentation where an enabled integration matters to your privacy decision.
Cookie duration depends on the purpose of the cookie and on configuration.
Some session-related data lasts for the active session or for the configured server-side session lifetime. TrustRiva does not state one fixed duration because deployment configuration can change it.
Functional view-suppression cookies used by the current helper logic are queued for about one day.
The current cookie-notice acknowledgement, locale, reading-direction and selected-business cookies are queued for up to 30 days.
Cookies from an enabled external provider follow that provider's configuration and policies and can use different lifetimes.
Your browser normally lets you inspect, delete or block cookies.
You can use your browser settings to clear stored cookies, block new cookies or restrict third-party cookies. The exact controls differ between browsers and devices.
Blocking or deleting essential cookies can sign you out, clear language or business preferences, cause the cookie notice to reappear, or prevent some authenticated forms and workflows from functioning as intended.
If you clear cookies, TrustRiva may treat the browser as a new session because the identifiers used to remember prior state are no longer available.
This page may be updated when TrustRiva's browser-storage behavior or enabled integrations change.
