Vendor and provider material
Logos, descriptions, screenshots, portfolio material and other information supplied by a vendor or provider remain subject to the submitter's rights and any rights held by third parties.
Learn how TrustRiva treats its own original material, third-party brands and submitted content, and how to raise or respond to a copyright concern.
It also explains permitted reuse, copyright complaints, platform review and restoration requests without pretending every dispute has an automatic outcome.
TrustRiva brings together platform-created material, vendor and provider information, user reviews, third-party product names, logos and other content. This policy explains what TrustRiva claims as its own, what remains the property of others, how material may be reused, and how copyright concerns can be raised for review.
Some content and presentation on the platform is created specifically for TrustRiva.
Subject to rights belonging to third parties, TrustRiva may own or control copyright and related rights in its original interface design, page layouts, original written editorial material, TrustRiva-created graphics, methodology explanations, original taxonomies, original data presentation, and other material produced specifically for the platform.
TrustRiva branding, logos and original visual identity may also be protected by copyright, trademark or other rights. Nothing in this policy transfers ownership of those rights to a visitor, reviewer, vendor, provider or account holder.
References to external products and organisations do not make their intellectual property TrustRiva property.
Software names, company names, provider names, logos, trademarks, screenshots, product images and other third-party material may belong to their respective owners. Their appearance on TrustRiva is not a transfer of ownership and does not by itself imply endorsement, sponsorship or partnership.
TrustRiva may display such material for identification, comparison, editorial, review, directory or informational purposes where permitted. Rights holders remain responsible for their own marks and original works.
Submitting content to TrustRiva does not automatically make TrustRiva the copyright owner.
Logos, descriptions, screenshots, portfolio material and other information supplied by a vendor or provider remain subject to the submitter's rights and any rights held by third parties.
Reviews, replies, reports and other original user contributions remain the responsibility of the person who submitted them and may be protected by that person's copyright.
By submitting material for publication, you confirm that you have the permissions or other rights needed to provide it and to allow TrustRiva to host, display, reproduce, format and distribute it as reasonably necessary to operate the relevant platform feature, subject to the Terms of Use.
You may use public TrustRiva pages for ordinary research, evaluation and reference.
Public availability does not mean unrestricted permission to republish or commercialise content.
Do not copy substantial portions of TrustRiva's original editorial, taxonomy, curated data presentation or page content into another directory, comparison service, dataset or publication without permission or another lawful basis.
Do not use scraping, crawling or automated extraction to reproduce protected content or bypass technical limits in a manner prohibited by the Terms of Use or applicable law.
Do not copy TrustRiva branding or visual identity in a way that is likely to mislead people into believing another service is operated, endorsed or published by TrustRiva.
Do not present TrustRiva editorial content, scores, verification indicators or recommendations as your own, or use them in advertising in a way that changes their meaning or implies an endorsement TrustRiva did not make.
If you believe material on TrustRiva infringes copyright you own or are authorised to enforce, send enough information for the claim to be assessed.
A useful complaint should identify the copyrighted work, identify the TrustRiva page or material complained about, explain why you believe the use is unauthorised, provide your name and reliable contact details, and describe your authority to act for the rights holder where relevant.
Where available, include supporting material such as an original publication URL, registration or ownership documentation, licensing information, or other evidence that helps distinguish the protected work from similar material.
A complaint is not an automatic finding of infringement. TrustRiva may request clarification, temporarily restrict material, remove it, preserve it while reviewing the dispute, or take another proportionate step depending on the information available and applicable obligations.
The process is intended to be evidence-based and proportionate.
TrustRiva checks whether the complaint points to specific content that can be located on the platform.
TrustRiva may consider ownership evidence, licensing context, the purpose of the use, information supplied by the uploader and other relevant circumstances.
Depending on the circumstances, content may remain available, be corrected, restricted or removed while the platform-level issue is resolved.
TrustRiva may retain the complaint and related correspondence as reasonably needed for support, integrity, dispute handling or legal obligations.
A person whose material is restricted or removed may be able to provide contrary evidence.
If content you submitted is affected by a copyright complaint and you believe the action was based on a mistake, misidentification, valid licence, permission or another lawful basis, contact TrustRiva with the relevant page, the affected material, your explanation and any supporting evidence.
TrustRiva may review the new information and, where appropriate, restore, revise or continue restricting the material. Restoration is not guaranteed and may depend on the evidence, platform rules and applicable legal obligations.
Repeated infringement and deliberately false complaints can both undermine the platform.
TrustRiva may restrict submissions, remove content, suspend accounts or take other proportionate action where an account repeatedly submits material it is not entitled to use or repeatedly disregards copyright-related platform decisions.
TrustRiva may also act on complaints that appear intentionally false, abusive, fraudulent, retaliatory or designed to suppress legitimate criticism or competition. Copyright reporting tools must not be used to manipulate reviews, rankings or vendor visibility.
TrustRiva can make platform decisions, but it does not finally determine private ownership disputes.
TrustRiva may decide whether content should remain on the platform based on available information, but it does not provide legal advice and does not finally adjudicate copyright ownership, licensing or infringement disputes between third parties.
This policy may change as TrustRiva's content features and reporting processes evolve.
The current version will be published on this page with its updated revision date. Material changes may also be communicated through an appropriate TrustRiva notice or support channel.
Use TrustRiva's support channels and provide enough detail for the material to be located and reviewed.
For a copyright complaint, ownership clarification or restoration request, use Contact Us and clearly identify the message as copyright-related. If the concern relates to a specific page, broken workflow or platform issue, Report a Problem can also capture the affected URL and technical context.
Do not include passwords, OTPs, private keys, API keys, card details or M-PESA PINs in a copyright submission.
Use Contact Us for ownership, licensing, takedown or restoration questions. Use Report a Problem when a specific URL or technical behavior is part of the issue.
